Biltmore is headed back to the small screen. A new holiday movie filmed at the estate and in downtown Asheville premieres this December on Hallmark Channel, and it’s a follow-up to the network’s 2023 Biltmore holiday favorite. If you’ve ever wanted to walk through a Christmas movie, this is your year.

The Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association is giving away a two-night getaway for two at the member inn of your choice, plus five runner-up lodging credits. Romantic mountain escape, historic inn in town, or a quiet retreat in the countryside: you pick.
The Prizes
Grand prize: a two-night stay for two at the ABBA member inn of your choice.
Five runner-up prizes: a $100 lodging credit toward a stay at the ABBA member inn of your choice.
Lodging prize can be redeemed December 5, 2026 through April 30, 2027, subject to availability, blackout dates, and each inn's booking policies.

A Story That Spans a Century
The new movie moves between the Gilded Age and today. It begins in 1895, when a young girl meets a mysterious boy at Biltmore who then vanishes. Twenty years later, a magical hourglass in Biltmore’s library brings them together again, more than a century in the future. Jonathan Frakes returns from the 2023 movie, joined by Holland Roden and Niall Matter.
The premiere is set for December 5, 2026. Watch for the Biltmore library, the estate grounds, and a few downtown spots you may recognize.
Where It Was Filmed
On the Estate
Filming took place at Biltmore House, The Inn on Biltmore Estate, Antler Hill Village, and Biltmore Winery. All four are part of a visit to the estate, and this season they’re dressed for the holidays. Christmas at Biltmore runs November 3, 2026 to January 10, 2027. Candlelight Christmas Evenings, which need a separate timed ticket, run through January 9. Antler Hill Village is lit up every evening.
Downtown Asheville
The crew also filmed at the Fine Arts Theatre and Pack’s Tavern, both in the heart of downtown. Catch a film at the theatre, grab dinner at Pack’s, and stroll the holiday windows, and you’ve made your own movie night.
Make It a Movie-Worthy Getaway
Book your Candlelight evening first, since those times sell out early, and then plan the rest of your trip around it. Pair a daytime estate visit with a wine tasting at Antler Hill Village. Spend an afternoon downtown, then end the night somewhere with a fireplace and a breakfast waiting for you in the morning.
Stay Close to the Estate
Several of our member inns sit just minutes from Biltmore’s entrance. Cedar Crest Inn and Oakland Cottage are among the closest, a short drive from the gate. In Arden, Bent Creek Lodge is about ten to fifteen minutes from the estate and close to the NC Arboretum’s Winter Lights. Giveaway period. Entries open when the official post is published on November 5, 2026 and close November 12, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
How to enter. Follow @avlbba on Instagram, like the designated giveaway post, and comment on that post with the name of an ABBA member inn you would choose and who you would bring. One entry per person. Additional comments, shares, tags, or newsletter signups do not increase your chances. Incomplete, fraudulent, or ineligible entries may be disqualified.
Grand prize. One winner receives a two-night stay for two at an ABBA member inn of their choice, redeemable December 5, 2026 through April 30, 2027. ABBA covers approved lodging up to $600 with the selected inn. Approximate retail value: $600. The prize does not include transportation, Biltmore admission, meals outside the inn's included breakfast, or other expenses. Subject to availability, blackout dates, eligible room categories, and the inn's booking policies.
Runner-up prizes. Five winners each receive a $100 lodging credit toward an eligible stay at an ABBA member inn of their choice, redeemable December 5, 2026 through April 30, 2027. Costs above the credit are the winner's responsibility. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to availability, blackout dates, minimum-stay requirements, and the inn's booking policies. Total runner-up value: $500.
Winner selection and notification. One grand-prize winner and five runner-ups will be selected at random from eligible entries and announced November 13, 2026. Odds depend on the number of eligible entries. Winners will be contacted only through ABBA's official Instagram account, @avlbba, and must respond within two days or an alternate may be selected. ABBA will never ask for payment or financial information to claim a prize.
Redemption. Winners coordinate reservations with their selected inn according to the instructions provided at confirmation. Preferred dates are not guaranteed. Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless ABBA authorizes otherwise.
General. ABBA may verify eligibility, disqualify fraudulent or incomplete entries, and modify or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or circumstances beyond its control compromise it. Winners are responsible for applicable taxes. Winner information is used only to administer the giveaway and fulfill prizes. By entering, you agree to these rules.
