1899 Wright Inn & Carriage House

Walk to Downtown Asheville from Historic Montford District

Named 2023 and 2024 Best of the Best by Trip Advisor, this 125 year old Queen Anne Victorian Asheville NC bed and breakfast inn is filled with history and romance and features large wraparound porch and gazebo on one of Asheville’s best surviving examples of a Colonial Revival-influenced architecture restored with breathtaking beauty. Intricate details include multiple gables, slate roofs, Doric-columned porches, spindle trimming and other decorative interior detailing.

Pamper yourself with our scratch made two-course breakfasts while dining on the spacious porch or inside at a table for two. Wright Inn has 10 meticulously restored rooms that will take you back in time while enjoying modern conveniences and upgrades.

On the same property, sits the renovated quaint carriage house featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 baths; sleeps up to six people. This beautiful inn is nestled in the historic Montford district and is less than a mile from the heart of downtown Asheville, minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway entrance and only 3 miles to Biltmore's main gate.  Enjoy all that downtown offers and then enjoy our daily social hour and then a quiet night's rest. We have our own E-bikes for daily rental to explore the neighborhood, River Arts District and local greenways.
