Best Bed and Breakfast in Asheville
A Guide to the Top B&Bs in Western North Carolina
Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association | ashevillebba.com
Find the Right Inn for Your Trip
Asheville’s bed and breakfasts aren’t interchangeable. A couple planning a quiet anniversary weekend needs a different inn than a family with two kids, and neither of them needs the same thing as a solo traveler who wants to walk to dinner downtown. The right B&B makes the trip. The wrong one is just a room.
The Asheville Bed & Breakfast Association represents 16 independently owned inns across Western North Carolina — from downtown Asheville’s historic neighborhoods to mountain towns like Weaverville, Waynesville, Hendersonville, and Marion. Every inn listed here is inspected, member-owned, and operated by innkeepers who live on the property.
This guide organizes our member inns by what actually matters to travelers: what you’re looking for, where you want to be, and how you want your trip to feel.
Best Bed and Breakfast Near Biltmore Estate
Biltmore Estate is the single most popular attraction in Western North Carolina, and proximity matters — especially if you’re planning a full day at the house, gardens, and winery. These inns put you closest to the action.

Bent Creek Lodge — Tucked in the woods south of Asheville, minutes from the Biltmore entrance. A rustic mountain lodge with 10 rooms that feels worlds away from the city while staying close to everything. Great for guests who want nature and Biltmore in the same trip.
