Summary:
Join us at the Inn at Amaris Farms for a relaxing and fun-filled watercolor workshop where you’ll paint your own version of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains! Each participant will receive a watercolor kit with a pre-drawn template and guidance from Jobana, the artist, to explore basic watercolor techniques and color mixing. While a sample will be provided, you’re encouraged to make the piece your own with a color scheme that speaks to you!
This workshop is beginner-friendly, age-friendly, and perfect for all skill levels—whether you’re new to painting or looking for a creative way to unwind. No experience is needed, just a love for creativity!

Indian Cooking Class with Asheville Cottage Cooking at the Inn
Summary:
Join us on Friday, March 28, at the Inn at Amaris Farms for an exciting and interactive Indian Cooking Class, led by the talented home chefs John and Liisa of Cottage Cooking! This delightful evening begins at 6 PM, inviting you and a partner to embark on a culinary adventure designed for everyone, no matter your experience level. Open to locals— as well as, Inn guests. Enjoy mingling with neighbors, strolling through 16 gorgeous acres, and preparing a mouthwatering dish together in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
About the Menu:
Come enjoy the "Magic of India" menu with the home chefs of Cottage Cooking. You'll try your hand at easy samosas stuffed with curried potatoes and peas and then put together a savory chicken tikka masala. This course packs a punch and is served with homemade mango chutney and crispy papadums. For dessert, cool your taste buds with a mango lassi. All guests will go home with recipes and full bellies, too!
